The success of Arise at Rochedale is the result of the vision of the Pask Group and a close working relationship with Brisbane City Council. The result is the creation of a master-planned urban community with a variety of uses including residential, commercial, retail and education.
Following a series of design workshops featuring some of Queensland and Australia’s best development consultants, the Rochedale Master Plan was born. One of the central themes of the Master Plan is the creation of a series of walkable neighbourhoods, each with a central focal point offering easy access to everything you could possibly need.
The delivery of a vibrant new generation community that is attractive, practical, easily accessible to public transport, and largely self sufficient, was another key outcome of the master planning process. This new Arise community lifestyle encourages sustainable housing design and innovation and will be home to a new town centre, neighbourhood and business service centres, business park and civic centre.
As a subtropical community, the natural features of Rochedale have informed the design process with generous open spaces to preserve natural parkland, habitat and, waterways. The sustainability of Rochedale will be further reflected in its innovative water management strategies including utilising underground aquifers, rainwater tanks and water sensitive urban design to preserve this precious resource.
A connected community, through a readily accessible transport network, will be complimented by encouraging active lifestyles through the creation of walking and cycling tracks ,as well as convenient access between activity centres and residential neighbourhoods.
